Sims 4 White Screen on New Game

Hi! My game is getting stuck on a white screen after clicking "New Game" (i just cleared my saves so i dont have any old ones to try) I've removed all my CC and Mods and the game still won't load. I...

    @chaoticneutral  Since the clean Sims 4 folder works, the next step is to move your saves and other user data to that new folder from the old one.  Do so in batches, testing each time, so you find out right away if there's a problem.

    I would suggest playing without your mods, at least for now, since so many of them broke with today's update.  You can look for updated versions and try those, but anything not yet updated is probably unusable.

    Other than mods and cc, you'll want to transfer the contents of saves, Tray (saved households and builds), perhaps Screenshots and/or Recorded Videos, and the UserSetting.ini file (login rewards).  The rest can be discarded.

        @FinestCube83131  To test in a clean user folder, move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

        If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    I'm having this same problem with my Sims right now. I hit new game and it's a white screen. I tried moving the folder like you said, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I tried removing mods. None of this helped. I don't know what to do. What do you suggest?? Thanks in advance. -Angel
