sims 4 will not launch after game update 26/07/2024

since the game update on the 26/07/2024 my game will not launch, i have cleaned out the cache files and repaired the game but when i go to start it it gives me an error report telling me a game update is required and to visit my game hub to start my update, i am using the ea app - what dose this mean
