That did work, but then while playing, the game shut off without warning and when I tried to relaunch, I got an error saying my video card doesn't work which is bogus because it does.
@panther1977_1 Please restart your computer and try again to play, just in case this was a random glitch.
If you still get the error, please run a new dxdiag and post it. Please also let me know what antivirus you use.

HEy! I am getting the "Can't start The Sims 4 with the video card in the system. I had the latest graphics card for Nvidia and then installed a previous driver and it didn't fix anything. I reinstalled Windows 11 since my initial post so I don't have a Anti Virus software installed. Here is my latest dxdiag.

@panther1977_1 Your new dxdiag lists some serious crashes of one of the graphics drivers, plus some other Windows errors that shouldn't happen after reinstalling the OS. So the next step is to do a clean uninstall and reinstall of both graphics drivers, using the versions HP provides for your laptop. Go here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops
Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 11 is fine) if asked, and you'll land on the driver download page. Click All Drivers, expand Drivers-Graphics, and download the newest Intel and Nvidia drivers by version number. (The first number is most important, as in, 32 is newer than 31; after that, compare the last four digits.) Here's how to clean-uninstall your current drivers:
Once you've done all this, please go back to the HP download page and let the site check for updates for your other drivers. This should cover chipset drivers and other software that may not have been installed properly when you reinstalled Windows.
If you get the same error after all of this, please open Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings, click Browse, find TS4_x64, and choose the power-saving option, to force Sims 4 to use your integrated graphics. Do the same with TS4_Launcher_x64. If this works, force high-performanc mode for both, which will force the game to use the Nvidia graphics. The idea is to see whether the problem is limited to one GPU or the other.
