Sims 4 won’t launch (will open for a few secs and close$

My issue started because something in my mods folder was preventing me from playing the game so I cleared my cc folder and it still wouldn’t open. I cleared my tray folder and still nothing. So I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it and repaired the game but it would open for 30 secs and close. I check the folder and it didn’t install correctly for some reason so I uninstalled it again and changed locations to see if that would help. It did not. I tried 4 times and the same thing happened every time. Finally I uninstalled the ea app all together and tried again. Same thing happened. So I tried downloading it on steam and the same thing is still happening! I’m at my wits end. I lost all my cc in the process of just trying to get the game to run. I’ve been at this for almost 3 weeks and I don’t know what else to do. This is the first time I’ve had such a problem with sims 4
