sims 4 wont launch after installing mods.
Ok so I've seen a lot of other threads like this but none seem to cover my specific issue so here goes. (I also apologize if this post isn't where it's supposed be, i'm new)
I've been playing TS4 for quite some time now (2 months) on my Macbook and everything was fine. I had mods installed that I had to sift through one by one because there were a few that wouldn't work, but now everything is fine. So I decided to move back with my parents and I took my big desktop computer back which is running windows 10 OS. I downloaded and installed TS4. Everything works but when I try to move the content from my mods folder from my mac, onto the windows mods folder, the game doesn't even start up; I get the error message 'Unable to start game because of missing of damaged files." with a string of numbers following that. Now I know that the game has had some updates since I downloaded it on my windows computer, hence me updating on my mac as well, but why do all the mods still work fine on my mac and not on my pc? Is there something i might've done wrong when transferring them from my mac to windows via usb drive?

It's hard to tell why it's working on your mac and not on your PC. maybe Macs are better at ignoring files that don't work or you're not at the same game version.
You need to go through your mods folder and find the guilty party. There's no way around that.
