Sims 4 won't launch after new app update
I have seen scattered threads here and there about the subject, but none specifically to what I'm experiencing.
Very simply:
- I've installed new EA app
- I'm on a Windows 10 PC
- When I try to launch The Sims 4 I am NOT getting an error code, but I used to get a message saying that I don't have access to the game (that I'm on the wrong user). I logged out and logged in again and seem to not get that message anymore, but still no launching
- There is a banner at the top of the app saying "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem."
- I don't want to reinstall the game as I don't want to lose progress
- This has been going on for weeks now
I really miss playing the game and I'm getting kinda frustrated by now. What's going on with this? Anyone looking into fixing the app?
