Sims 4 won't launch (play button dimmed out & won't launch from desktop)

I have The Sims 4 installed on my laptop, as well as all the expansion packs. When I launch origin, the play button is dimmed out. When I click on the actual game icon on my desktop, I get a spinning...

    Try deleting your Origin cache or repair the game by right clicking on the game on the Origin client
