sims 4 wont launch

MikaelaKosovsky Some of the info you removed may actually be relevant, not for my suggestions below but in case they don't help. For example, if I want to check for outdated chipset drivers, I can only do that if I know which model laptop you have.
For now though, please completely remove McAfee, as described here:
https://www.mcafee.com/support/s/article/000001616?language=en_US
Please also pause OneDrive syncing before trying to play. To see the option, right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, or perhaps hidden in the Tray (^ icon).
If these steps don't help, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address. You'll be able to (try to) open Sims 4 without reinstalling anything, but your saves and other user data won't be available.
If this doesn't help either, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to play. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
