Sims 4 won't load. EA APP ERROR (The sims 4 failed to load, error on our end)

I have tried so many solutions from reinstalling both EA App and the sims 4 multiple times, I've tried ea app recovery, ea app updater, repairing the sims 4 via the app, running ea app in administer. The only thing I could do to get it to load was to run was to NOT run the sims 4 game in administer (unchecking in properties) but this makes it so many mods and reshade do not work! Did EA do this on purpose to make mods harder to work with the game? why are EA forcing us to migrate to a launcher that does not work? I tried to contact them via support and I got sent here because their support does not want to handle these things.

I really want to play the new dlc coming soon with all my mods and reshade but I cannot solve this issue. I even tried moving the game.exe to desktop and loading it forcing to creating a new fresh like some where suggesting but when I launched the game it came up with an error saying that the "legacy edition" could not be installed. I even saw some people say try going to the file location and running the sims 4 from the original "old" .exe but in mine there is ONLY the 64_bit.exe. I've been having this issue since December and still it is not fixed.

  • @vampyxangel  What antivirus do you use?  If you don't have a third-party program installed, is Controlled Folder Access enabled, and does it help to disable it?  The idea here would be that an antivirus or Windows Defender is flagging your mods and that disabling it or setting exceptions for Sims 4 and the EA App could help.  You can find instructions for setting exceptions in a few programs, and a link to a guide for Controlled Folder Access, here:

TS4.exe runs the old 32-bit version of Sims 4, and now the Legacy Edition, which I'm guessing you don't want if you'd like to play with any content released after October 2019.  If you haven't restored TS4_x64.exe, which runs the standard version of Sims 4, you can repair the game in the EA App to create a new one.

I don't have any anti virus installed,, my computer only came with windows defender. on my windows defender it says there are zero threats and that nothing is blocked. It's definatly not flagging any mods because the game refuses to load on a fresh install with no mods in it.

Yeah I already restored my game thanks, I just wanted to explain what I had tried because alot of "solutions" on the forums do not work.

@vampyxangel  Does Sims 4 open now if you've set it to not run with admin rights?  I thought that was working, albeit without most of your mods loading, but let me know if that's changed.
