Sims 4 won't load with mods

Yes, I've tried the "delete localthumbcache" method which didn't work. I have over 2,000+ CC from my previous laptop which was the same brand, older laptop, Windows 10 and all the CC worked fine. I've been trying to go through all of the cc to find out which one is corrupting the whole game, and I've reached no where. My laptop is new and I just started fresh so I don't know what's the problem. Any suggestions?☹️

Now you have to divide these CC into smaller batches for example 30 in one folder and check once more. Do it so long as you will find the culprits.

This is the reason that I personally have very little CC. Checking CC after each patch would lead me crazy

After yesterday patch half of the old scripts mods are broken, CC are broken too.
There's no other way to fix it then find broken ones.

Move the mods folder to the desktop and fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.

Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder. Check if a game is working now without mods. Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method

If it does not work then we'll try another method later

    I don't work for EA

  • So everything worked up to adding the CC after the script mods. The script mods were fine but when I added 180 of the 2,000 mods, it got stuck at the sims 4 logo.
