    @welzerocci  Yes, that's what I wanted.  Please remove ReShade and everything related to it, and repair the game.  If you're not sure what belongs to ReShade, delete the entire Bin folder here:

    D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

    The repair option in Steam is called "verify integrity of the game files," and it should be somewhere under Properties, maybe in Local Files.  (It's moved around a bit, apparently.)

    @puzzlezaddict Oh my god, I completely forgot I had that !!! Thank you so much, my game is working now. I may bother about my sister's laptop in the coming day or two if anything goes wrong with hers, but mine is completely fixed !!!
