sims 4 won't open

I downloaded the sims 4 from steam but it didn't open. The game says it's opened but the screen doesn't appear. I deleted the game and downloaded it again but it didn't work. I downloaded it from epic games but it still won't open. I haven't installed any mods on the game so I don't think it's related to mods.
