Sims 4custom content won't work with the gender customization update

My custom content will work for the girls, but with the new gender choices update it won't show for men also (i.e. My female hair which is custom content won't show in the mens hair choices). Is there any way to make it work either way?

Did you check for updates to your custom content? You need to to where you got it and see if it is updated. Every time there is a patch this could be a problem.
