I made it so my sims don't age in the settings, but they still are just more slowly. Is there a way to make it permanently stop or a mod at least?
Then it does sound like a mod issue, and I cannot help you find which one sadly. But if this happens like once every couple of months (IRL), another solution is just to enable testingcheats true and cas.fulleditmode, and age the sims down in CAS?
If your sims still age when your settings are like this, something is wrong.
The Sims in my game do not age one bit.
If you have mods/cc in your game, remove all of them to see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.
My settings are the same. They don't age like they would if those settings were turned on. Just takes them much longer to age. How will I know which cc is the issue since it's an aging issue?
I do not know, that would probably take a long time to find out... Normally it's trial and error.
But if you hover over the age bar normally it says "12 days until age up"
What does it say for your sims, and how often does it change?
Doesn't say anything. I just noticed the sim aged up recently. Checked my other household and he wasn't the only one. It's been months for him to age up(irl).
Did you attend a birthday party? If a sim throws a birthday party and you attend it, they will age up, even with ageing turned off. If you do not want them to age up, I think you just decline the invitation.
