Neutral/Not Sure I just created a new house and added my all time family, but with a new addition I created in another game and downloaded to the family, I started playing, (I have autonomy on) so I was quite startled when I saw they were complaining they were tired, and didn’t use any of the two beds I had in the house, I selected the bed, chose the sleep option, but my sim did the annoying I can’t use that object dance, I stripped down all the components of the room, including pillows, loveseats, bureaus, even the wall lams and the painting but none of my dumb sims could use the bed, neither the other one in the other room, I bought a bed and placed it outside and I found out they could use the beds outside normally, but not the ones inside, I have no clue why is this happening.note: I DO use cc but it is not the problem and I will not remove it because the vanilla game version sucks, the initial bed I tried was a cc bed, but I also tried using a base game bed and the same problem showed up.i hope I can find a solution to this annoying problem 😕

@AndyVantasMove your mods folder from the game golder to your desktop. Delete the localthumbcache.package file from the game folder.Repair the game on Origin. Check if you still have this error.If the error has disappeared, some the outdated mod caused it.I suspect, however, these bedsAfter Seasons and last patches many mods are outdated.After that, you can look for the mod what caused it and remove it from the game. You can use the rest of the mods but you have to find the bad one ane delete it.You have a very simple choice - to have this broken mods or play. After all, EA will not adapt the entire game to your broken mods.

Question in regards to this happening:- Are you seeing a stuck action in your Sims' action queue? I had a similar issue to this where my Sims would not use beds because they were already under the impression they were because of the stuck action.I do use some CC, and I had to use a tool from MC Command Center to "Refresh Sim" which cleared their action queue and re-rendered the Sim on the lot. This seemed to fix the issue.I can't guarantee that it will resolve your issue, but if you were having a similar problem, it might be worth trying.- B

Hi @AndyVantas You can try batch fix your custom content with Sims4Studio to help erase any issues that might be cc cause. Removing custom content is for testing if an issue is caused by it or a game issue. Refusing to remove it, makes it hard to troubleshoot. No one is asking you to not use custom content, just test without and if it works without, find out which one is causing it. Are you just using cc objects/hair/etc or also game mods ? Did you try non-cc beds ? It would also be good to know what packs you have. That info is asked for a reason (we had issues that only occurred with certain combinations of packs so that info is not irrelevant at all).

Hi, thanks for responding, I do use cc for pretty much everything, I think it may be caused by an out of date mc command center I have installed, I removed and I will test if it works.I did tried using non cc beds but the issue remained, right now I can’t check the packs I have installed but as soon as I can, I will tell you.

No, i just click on the bed and my sim says he can’t use the bed, the action is cancelled and then just goes get some coffee.

I have:
Expansion packs: cats and dogs, city living, get together, get to work
Game packs: vampires, dine out, spa day, outdoor retreat
Stuff packs: romantic garden stuff, perfect patio stuff, luxury party stuff
Free stuff: Holiday celebrations pack

I’m right off to do a batch fix.

So, the option to do a batch fix is missing, I tried reinstalling the studio but it’s just gone.

Unfortunately I've never used SimsStudio myself so you will need to ask at the site for help with that.
