@Dislimited That's not normal at all. Steam should give you only fully-updated versions of each of your packs, and if any packs were inherently incompatible with each other, we'd see a lot more reports. Did you install any of your packs through the EA App rather than Steam, and/or did you at some point need to copy pack folders around to get everything recognized?
Negative to both. Are past DLC packs constantly updated like that? Because so far from testing I found that SP05-SP18 all cause the exact same glitch with commands.
@Dislimited The pack folders are not updated at all. The pack-related patch data goes into ...The Sims 4\Delta\packname instead.
Huh. Well, I'm not sure what it is, then. I have a complete list of all DLC packs that don't work: SP05-25, with the exception of SP24. I have no clue what those packs have in common, but now that the base game is running, I'll try adding back my old save file and then mods.
Yes, my game has been running perfectly fine for 2 days now! Assuming you have the same problems as me, this may be able to help you as well. I was already able to help one other person who said they tried everything and were about to quit for good until they followed what I did.
