Sims Chatting and gaining anon skills while asleep??

My son is on the computer playing computer games and my other Sim (Mom) Is asleep in bed but they are still chatting and one of her skills bar is going up?  The bar went all the way to max above her ...

Update! 🙂 My son is now at school, the mom is at home but they are still chatting??? How can they be talking and holding a conversation while he is at school? I Rebooted and deleted cache files. It's still happening??
