Sims crashes after dragging an item into inventory

All packs (geology pack just came out 2024), no mods installed. 

Every time I drag an item out of the world and into my inventory the sims crashes. It works fine if I click, place item in inventory. But it's crashed 4 times in the last 15 minutes. Anyone else having this same issue?

    I think you're in the wrong forum! Which version of the Sims is this? Here we are on Tapped Out, the land of the Simpsons, but I can help you find the way!

    After these patches whenever I play the game I crash to desktop.  It usually happens when I open my Sims inventory/  Please help!  I cant play the game!

    I also lose all progress from the last save.
