I don't have any trouble openingen my game, but I can't play. My sim is just frozen, and will not do any of the commands. I have a few mods, but I reinstalled all of them. I tried to repair the game, but the EA app don't seem to have that option. I feel like I have tried everything. Has anyone tried this and found a solution?
TrinT0409 Do you play through Steam? If so, you can only repair through Steam. The option is called "Verify the integrity of the game files" and should be somewhere under Properties.
For the issue itself, please test with no mods or custom content. You don't need to save your progress, but it's important to find out whether mods and cc are contributing to the problem.
I have tried on steam too, but it does not show the option either. But I just started a new game, and that worked so I have no idea why my old game does not work :)

TrinT0409 Try emptying your sims' personal inventories in the old save. If that doesn't help, evict the household and move them somewhere else, preferably to a different world. These are just tests; you don't need to save your progress.
