sims is already running error 2023

SIMS IS ALREADY RUNNING 2023 its not xx I just want to play sims. i've tried everything i've found to do online: checked task manager, checked my antivirus/firewall to make sure it wasn't blocking...

    @abbiegrest18  Please disable McAfee entirely, create a new admin Windows account (don't sign into Microsoft), and try to play in that.  It's possible McAfee interfered in the previous new account before you had a chance to play.

    What do you mean play in that account? And how do you not log in? I made a new admin account as you suggested! Thank you!

      @peytonbach  Sign into the new Windows account, and while using that account, try to play Sims 4.  Let me know whether it works.
