sims not working after January 21st update 2021, HELP!!

after the January 21st up my sims game has a few problems. the first one is I no longer have lights! I can place a light and the money comes off but the item does not appear and does not work. lights that I had previously placed are no longer visible nor do they work. secondly, when I try and play with a different family (one I previous played before the update) it does not load properly and the family members do not appear on the bottom bar as well as it does not load me into the family but rather just on the street. when I find the house it is blacked out as if I wasn't playing with family. finally, the loading time for entering a family or even the game has at least doubled and taking ages to load. please help!! I've tried uninstalling origin three times now and still not working.

    @ankin1  Try repairing Sims 4: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  That will hopefully address the light issues.  Let me know whether the other problems persist after the repair.

    @ankin1  Try repairing Sims 4: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  That will hopefully address the light issues.  Let me know whether the other problems persist after the repair.

    @Kather789  You need to close Sims 4 in order to see the Repair option.  Double-check the Task Manager to make sure it's not running.

    Sadly I’ve uninstalled. Repaired. Enabled through my firewall. Ran as an administrator. Tried different WiFi and internet connections and disconnected to the internet. My gallery won’t work and I keep getting the sims 4 has stopped working since the reinstall

    My game stopped working on July 4th.

    It was just fine on the 3rd as I played and saved my game with no problems. I dont know what happened.

    I tried doing a clean boot, cleaning my registry, repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling....still wont work.

    When i try to launch it, it looks like it tries to load, but then Origin pops up, the same way it does after saving a game and exiting TS4.

    As far as finding a fix nothing seems to be working for me.

    @Smokeahontis What security software are you using ?

    Your computer is a bit on the low end but it should still start.

    Did you also reinstall Origin ?
