Sims saves destroyed

Hi I installed the newest expansion and ever since I can’t save without error 21! Gallery is corrupted. 

so I deleted my game and gave up my corrupted saves. Redownloaded from scratch. Now the game won’t load to the main menu without crashing. 

it’s not in one drive and I have zero mods. I have had zero issues with bugs or corrupt files before this latest EP.
