Sims Session Summer Festival won't working for my current save game.

I don't know why this is happening, but unfortunately I'm not able to participate in the musical show that was supposed to take place after the last update. The festival takes place on Sundays from 1...

It looks like you never got the ticket because you skipped the day where they are sent to your sim.

@jpkarlsen I actually skipped the day from Monday. I was waiting the entire Sunday inside the game and still I didn't receive anything. Does the game restrict this festival to old saves? Can I leave my save attached here in this post for you guys to look at?

@XXMythLuan I would just play the entire week and see if it occurs.

From the notes:

Once Simmers load their game today (after updating the game of course) your Sims will get a message telling them about Sims Sessions (this will happen on in game Sunday in a new Save, but if you are not in a new save you will need to wait for it to be Sunday in your game after the Game Update), they will also receive a ticket in their inventory that they can view for more information and they will be able to travel to the location of the festival.

So, since it was sunday in your game already, the festival didn't trigger. Just play till the following sunday (without skipping any days) and see if it occurs.

  @crinrict I just tested it here in my game: I waited a week until it reached noon on Sunday, but unfortunately the event didn't happen! I didn't receive any notifications or even a ticket to participate! I went to the park to see if something had spawned, and nothing, it's still empty! Unfortunately it didn't work out and I think the event is broken in my current save, which I think is terrible since it seems that only I have this problem! Will Maxis fix this? Most likely not, but I wanted to be able to participate in this event without having to start the entire game from scratch!!
