wbpy46jctn65 What options do you see when you right-click the sound icon in the lower-right corner of hte screen? Please list them or post a screenshot (you can use Windows key-shift-S to capture the list). And if spatial sound is on, turn it off and restart. If another sound option is listed as on, disable that too.
You can use the "troubleshoot sound problems" option if you like, but that mostly deals with outdated or missing drivers or other problems that are similarly obvious to Windows. Since that could cover your issue, it's worth trying; I'm just saying it's not a cure-all.
If this doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Yes, in fact, when I asked an AI, the first thing it told me was to check that spatial sound was disabled, and yes, the option was always disabled. As for "dxdiag," I think I already attached the file.
