itsstephanie93 The important question is not the physical size of the monitor but rather the resolution, as in, the total number of pixels. What graphics card do you have? Some that can run Sims 4 on ultra settings at 1920x1080 would struggle to a significant degree at a high widescreen resolution like 3440x1440. Others should be fine.
One other point to consider is that the Main Menu and Manage Worlds screens don't stretch to fit a 21:9 monitor in fullscreen mode. (Live mode is fine.) So if you play in fullscreen and think the occasional black bars on the sides would bother you, maybe don't get a single ultrawide monitor. You could of course play in windowed mode instead, but you might find the extra space on the side distracting.
Aside from that, it's really a matter of personal taste. If you can, I'd suggest going to a store that has monitors on display (for example, Best Buy in the U.S.) and sitting in front of an ultrawide model. Watch a couple videos and decide what you think. I personally wouldn't get an ultrawide monitor because I like to sit close to the screen and would ignore the details on the periphery, but that's me, not you.
