@LunaStarSeeker Try creating a new admin Windows account and playing in that. Even if it's not a good long-term solution for you, it's a great test because it removes all the possible issues related to your current Windows account. The new account needs to be local, as in, don't sign into Microsoft.
If Sims 4 works in the new account, we can try to fix the old one. If it doesn't work, the issue system-wide, and in that case, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
