She isn't that important, I didn't get to play her enough so I don't mind deleting it all if i need to. when I first made her and started playing I got her a job but she never actually left the house for that job. The problem happened after I saved and exited and came back. I will try just getting rid of her period and see if that helps. I don't know if you could see but I had even started a new sim and play pre-made sims to see if it was just her, but it still happened to them.
It might be the entire save not just that Sim.
Im more than happy to uninstall and reinstall the whole game to see if it works, I'm just worried about losing 4 years of families and back up so if i can figure out how to recover the save before I bought the game and installed I would be happy
Reinstalling won't help as I can duplicate the issues on your save.
Did you ever make backups of your save ? It does seem that it's important to you.

Which family did you try that had the same issue ?
So I managed to complete the Strangerville aspiration without seeing what to do next, also I looked up some and followed along. I made a new sim and she is somehow still at the house and I can see and use her but she still does not go to work. So it isnt 100% fixed but it was enough to at least complete the aspiration, thank you for all your help.
