everytime i try go into cas after the lovestruck base game update, i get stuck on the loading screen. the sims music also doubles, theres 2 diff audios playing at the same time. i do have cc and mods, but only a few and have had absolutely no issues until the update last night. idk if theres a way to fix this or just wait until EA does (again. as usual.)
its not my pc either as its not slow or old.
@qeftone Please remove your Mods folder and test the game. If it works, that means you need to sort through your mods and custom content.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
