stuck on loading screen new update

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? growing together, cottage living, discover university, get famous, seasons, cats and dogs, city living, get together, get to work, parenthood, dine out, laundry day, backyard
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? open the game, do anything that will take you to the loading screen
What happens when the bug occurs? game gets laggy, gets stuck on loading screen until it has to be forced to shut down.
What do you expect to see? I just want to be able to play the game I have spent hundreds of dollars on.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Ever since the update yesterday, I can't play the game. It will let me access the my most recent household, but as soon as I try to manage worlds or go to cas, it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to shut the game down using ctrl alt delete. I have changed around all of my settings. I have removed mods. I have repaired my game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Still, nothing is working. Please help.
