System error in build mode after October 2024 update

When I am in build mode, any time I try to place something on the lot, it says system error. I disabled mods, repaired the game, and turned my PC off and on and nothing seems to be working. The game was fine prior to this update, but I'm not sure what to do right now. Any suggestions?

    @crime_junkie_96  Please post a screenshot of the error, for reference.  Please also let me know whether this happens on a different lot in the same save, and if so, whether it happens in a new save.  Remove your Mods folder for now; you don't need to save your progress.
