@madbrims It will probably handle high settings just fine. Ultra settings would depend on what packs you have installed—for example, Seasons and Island Living are much more demanding than any Game or Stuff pack—and how high you want your frame rates to be. There's no reason the laptop shouldn't run TS4 at all though.
Given the specs you listed, this model is probably in a class of laptops that don't have great cooling. This isn't a problem as long as you're careful, but you'll want to elevate the laptop to allow air to circulate underneath or even buy a cooling pad. If you'd like advice on how to monitor temperatures, let me know.
@kreeser1 That website only describes whether a computer can technically run Sims 4 at all, not how well it will do so. Minimum specs by EA's definition are whether the game will load and run for a reasonable amount of time without crashing, all on the lowest graphics settings.
