System Specs and Platform Information

Well hello, this might be a silly answer, but here it goes.

I've been playing The Sims since the first game came out and it's been my favorite. When the news about the Sims 4 came along I stood connected to hear more news through time, today I decided to check out if the pre-order came out already; and for my surprice it did. I always played in a PC until it had an unfortunate incident and died, and my company gave me a Mac. So, here is my question, I see that it says that it supports PC, and usually in the SIMS3 I saw that it said "Mac", I wonder if it's the same thing  and I can still buy it and download it in my Mac or if I have to wait until they support it for my Mac...
