I just wanted to check before i buy Sims 4 that it is compatible with Windows 8.1. So my question is will Sims 4 be compatible with Windows 8.1?

Excuse me if I sound like a total idiot, but I'm not to clear on the "or equivalent" part under the "Processor" heading. You see, my computer's processor is an AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD 2.00 GHz. I'm not an expert on computer specs, so could someone please tell me if what I have counts as equivalent to the processors listed in the first post?

  It's a bit hard to tell since I'm not familiar with AMDs too much. I would just download the Demo and see if that works.

    Thank you for your reply. I guess that I'll just have to take a chance and download the demo myself. As much as I hate to admit it, the preview videos for the new CAS are just too tempting...and puting out S2UC for free was much too brilliant of a marketing trick...^_^;
