Tech Support not existent

Does anyone else have a problem reching tech support for the Sims or any other EA game? I have been trying to get a hold of someone for three days straight and no luck. I've waited hours and hours for online chat. I have tried emailing. And now most recently when I did call-back support, EA called me an hung up after the second ring as I was answering my phone. I'm not sure why the tech support is trying to ignore their customers. Does anyone know a better method for getting in touch with EA. I'm having issues with the game I purchased and there is no way to get in contact with them. This is ridiculous.

    They are probably very busy and on limited staff during the holiday seasons.

    Many software companies almost completely shut down for the Christmas/New Year holiday. Also many companies take advantage of this time for service and upgrades of equipment. Most technical problems can be answered here or at thesims.com forums. Account problems need to be handled by EA support.

    You as well i think this will be the last time i buy anything ea. I havent played my sims 4 game in five months trying to figure it out. I am busy with school so when i actually decided to play sims 4 (which i downloaded) will not even display in my origin i tried downloading it again and it says code already in use. I cannot get in touch with anyone this is freaking craziness. I need to speak with someone asap. Or im going to go to game stop and ask for them to get in contact with someone or ask for my damn money back.

    EDIT (Crin): Changed all-caps for readability. Also be aware that all-caps is considered screaming on the Internet and against the TOS.
