The moment i open the game i cant see text. I only see some gibberish when i go into menu, and wwww in place of the “play” “load family” and other home screen stuff…
I must say I played on steam once then uninstalled it and installed the ea version… could this have been at fault? (i already did the repair thing in ea app, im doing it again just to be sure)
Any ideas how to fix it? i just got new expansion packs and i wanna playy
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
You might want to start in Broken/Updated Mods & CC or the Mod/CC Issues master post - you'll find the "WWWW" issue described in the second one, and known UI-related broken and updated mods in the first.
I had this problem this week. I "repair" the game on EA app, and it worked 👍
