Texts blurry when on Fullscreen

Hi there,

While having my Sims 4 on fullscreen, in-game text seem to be blurry and it's hard on the eyes but when I play on windowed fullscreen mode, this doesn't seem to happen but I need to be playing on fullscreen mode otherwise my game will stutter.

Does anyone know if they experience any similar problems, if so, did you find a fix? Hope to receive some answers.

  • Update:

I have just fixed it! I had to turn Antialiasing - Mode to Application-controlled and now everything is back to normal - no more jagged lines on characters/objects and blurry text when fullscreen (screenshot of my settings will be posted for those who run to the same problem).

    Here's my dxdiag.

I have not tried a different in-game resolution as I'm playing on my native resolution which is (2560x1440). If I were to try another resolution, this wouldn't be ideal as I would much prefer playing on fullscreen where it's 100% rendered. Not only does the game stutter on windowed fullscreen, I also get less fps whereas if I'm playing on fullscreen I get more.

I have found that the text do go back to normal on fullscreen when I turn off Anti-Aliasing via Nvidia Control Panel but the characters and objects now have jagged lines and not smooth anymore.

Thanks for your help btw. I appreciate it.
