@curupiradebota Please run both the EA App and Steam as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Don't try to launch Sims 4 until both apps have loaded fully, and then press Play in Steam rather than using the game's desktop shortcut.

I am having this issue on Linux. I have no mods or anything installed and just want to play Battlefront 2. EA launched through Steam fine and now it says some EA features are disabled because the EA app launched from another location.

This thread is a bit older and is being locked here to make sure info provided or reported is relevant to the current version of The Sims.
