@Jaydee2906  What world are you playing in, and how did you move your sims there?  What graphics card does your computer have, and have you taken steps to limit in-game framerates?  I can help with that if necessary; just ask.

    @puzzlezaddict Hi! I’m sorry for the late reply, and thank you so much for offering to help.

    1. I’m playing in Ciudad Enamorada.
    2. I believe I moved my Sims there using the phone.
    3. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TI.
    4. I haven’t taken any steps to limit my in-game framerate. Do you think that’s necessary? I assumed my graphics card was strong enough, but if you think it's important, I’m happy to do that.

      @Jaydee2906  I thought you were playing Sims 3, which does require an outside fps limiter if the graphics card is even mid-tier.  But Ciudad Enamorada is in Sims 4, so perhaps the 3 was a typo.  Sims 4 has a built-in fps limit of 200, which can be changed but is sufficient to prevent any associated problems.

      At any rate, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a reply.

        @puzzlezaddict Apologies for the mix-up. I was confused because I’m experiencing issues with both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4—problems I didn’t have on my gaming laptop.

        Sims 3:
        My main question is about The Sims 3. I moved my Sim from Bridgeport to Legacy Island III, where I played without issues on my gaming laptop. Later, on Legacy Island III, I started getting Error Code 12 when saving, which led me to upgrade to a gaming PC.

        On my new PC, after moving back to Legacy Island III using the world travel feature, the game suddenly started crashing after 10-20 minutes, without showing an error code.

        Sims 4:
        I’m also seeing crashes in The Sims 4, which I’ve never had before. Since installing the Lovestruck expansion, the game runs for a while and then crashes directly to the desktop. Could this be due to my PC?
