Since the last patch (start of Jan 25) the game always takes 10-20min to shutdown. Anyone kow how to fix this?
@ReyaRose Does it take a long time to close the game without saving? What about if you're playing a different household in the same save, or an entirely new save? Please test all of these and let me know.
@ReyaRose Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress, or you can choose "save as" to rename the save and preserve your original as-is.
If that doesn't help, or you don't use mods or cc, please try playing with your computer offline. (This is just a test, not a fix.) You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play. Let me know whether it helps.
