The game was deleted after the update.

After the last update, when I opened the game, my previous games were deleted. I tried to start a new game, but a white screen appears and the game closes. The EA app says 'an error occurred on our end'. I've tried repairing it many times, but it didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still didn't change anything. :(

  • That’s really frustrating to hear — losing your game or saves after an update is something a lot of Sims players have unfortunately run into. When Sims 4 “disappears” from your EA App but is still owned, it’s often not really deleted; it’s usually an install/visibility glitch with the EA App or a corrupted install after a patch. One thing many players recommend is clearing the EA App cache and then repairing the Sims 4 install through the app — that can sometimes make the game reappear properly instead of showing a “download” button again. Another tip is to check your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder and make sure your save files are still there (and not moved into a cloud/OneDrive folder), then restore them if needed. A fresh install after clearing cache and repairing often fixes weird launch issues, so it’s worth trying before assuming the game or packs are gone for good.

For the white screen and error, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
