The Game Won't Start

I insttalled Sims 4 a few days ago and have been having problems since.

When i click on the game shortcut or 'Play' on origin, nothing happens most of the time.

The activation UI is visible in Task Manager for a second before disapearing.

The Game has loaded 3 times in total after about an hour of failed attempts each and once it's loaded it runs fine.

I can see no clear link between the times it has worked.
