The Sims 4 Cats

I pre-ordered The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs a while back. I just tried to download it today. It says "Preparing...", eventually turning into a "Download Error" message. I have tried everything I could think of [ Restarting my pc, restarting origin, reinstalling origin, signing in and out of origin, turning off CC in The Sims 4 [ although I did not think that would help ]]. I have contacted EA already, so I am waiting, but if anyone can suggest anything while I wait, I would be happy :eahigh_file:

Turns out you do have to cancel the pre-order, and repurchase.

Tons of people have this problem, I do too. So far, no solution and EA/Origin is saying that we all just have to wait. I'm beginning to think it's a scam.

I would say it is a scam too, but I have seen video proof that people that have not pre-ordered The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs can use it. So im starting to think that the people have to pay for the expansion AGAIN. Which, if that is the solution, would not make anyone happy...
