The Sims 4 Folder in the wrong place?
Am just checking where my Sims 4 Folder is meant to be (not the one in Documents). I got the game a long time ago on disc and this is how Ive installed the game on all my pc's. Obviously we were using Origin back then. Ive took a look at where my Sims 4 folder is and it is in Program Filesx86/Origin Games/The Sims 4. Yet since the update to EA App I would of assumed that it would now be in Program Files/EA Games. But this folder is empty. Also in Program Files is an Electronic Arts folder which has another folder named EA Desktop. Im confused. The EA App is able to install updates and DLC's however. Should the game now be in EA Games? Or does it not matter.?
Just as a side note: Ive installed TwistedMexi's Tool/BetterBuy mods which I cant use correctly because it wont sort out the debug items and the fix that comes with it isnt working. This might be because the fix is to remove the check or Black square from a read only Folder in Programs Files/EA Games (which is empty) When i go to The Sims 4 Folder in Program Files x86/OriginGames/TheSims4Folder and click properties and remove the black square it just comes back and I have full permissions already.
If anyone uses these mods and has come across this issue, any advice on this would be most helpful.
