Hi. I tried this and it seemed to work. In my fresh game i have 2 adult sims, (now a baby), a cat (and now a kitten), a dog, two horses, a cow, seven labs and some chikens (wanted to try to play with fuller household than usually and more stuff just to test if the game started to work really). And it seemed to work. After the other sim got pregnant (and i didn't know that my cat was also pregnant) the game started to lag a bit but it was managable and not too disturbing the gameplay. No freezing.
I hoped it had resolved so i moved my saves back to documents (not sure if i did that right) and on EA app even repaired the game after doing this hopeing it would help the old save to work. Even downloaded the save useing the returned (i hope i translated it ok, my game is in Finnish) feature. And in that household i have 1 normal adult sim, a vampire, a child, a dog, a horse and some chikens and two lambs. When the game loaded to go to the adult sims work as an actor the whole game froze again and my computer needed to be shut down from power button 'cause mouse and keyboard wasn't working anymore.
I am now trying to see if the game works with saves moved to desktop and with a 8 sim household (just to test the limits of the game faster/better than with just 3 sim game. If it works that way i know the driver update helped and the problem is in the savefile.
If the savefile is the problem, is there a way to get it back to game and working without this problem?
