I uninstalled Steam to avoid any conflict (I had The Sims 4 on it) and I’m currently repairing the game through the EA app. I’ll test again once it’s finished. My game is still having the same issue even after uninstalling Steam.
I'm totally out of ideas then
Hopefully someone else has other ideas.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help and support, but I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a week now. I hope the next update will fix the problem (fingers crossed lol). Thanks again. Kind regards, a French Sims fan.

I think I may have found the problem with my game. I just checked my game settings, and if I show you a picture of my Sims 4 game, maybe that’s what’s causing the issue.

Have you tried a clean reinstall ?
Follow instructions here for a clean uninstall:

Make sure both Steam and EA app versions are gone completely from your computer
After that either reinstall the steam or the ea app version.
If you have packs you own on steam but not on ea app, use the steam version, otherwise i'd go with ea app.
