The Sims 4 launches as a background process

So I recently tried to get into sims 4 again but when I clicked "play" the app only launched as a background process, task manager says it uses 0% of cpu and even reinstalling the game/origin did nothing, I have also tried launching in windows 7/8 compatibility mode, that did nothing, no errors found anywhere, I tried repairing the game files, that also did nothing, I'm getting quiet desperate for answers at this point.

I can see you have some problems with Windows Update.

Follow these methods and check if it helps:
    Method 1:
The Windows Update Troubleshooter fixes some problems with Windows Update, and it might resolve this error for you.

    Follow these steps:
    a. On the Start search, type 'find and fix problems' and choose 'Find and Fix problems'.
    b. Click on 'System and Security' and click 'Windows update'.
    c. Follow the onscreen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2:
If that does not help, disable third party antivirus on your computer and try again.

    Windows Store also has problems.

Try to reset Windows store cache and check if it helps.

    a. Press Windows + R keys to open run window.
    b. Type the following command in run and press Enter.
    wsreset.exe

If it does not help, try disabling proxy and check again.
    a. Press Windows + R keys, type inetcpl.cpl in run window and press Enter.
    b. Click connections tab and then click LAN settings.
    c. Click to uncheck "Use proxy server for your LAN" box.
    d. Click ok, apply and ok.

Also try to repair system files. Run sfc /scannow

You Graphics driver is not up to date so it wont hurt trying to upgrade this as well.
