When I'm trying to get into the sims. It popped up with the intro but where you click to play isn't. It's just a black screen. And I recently bought University , Dine out , and laundry day. So im wondering how and why it's not loading because I can hear the music.
@sillyislex Please move your entire Sims 4 game folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will be created with no content. If you can start a new save and play it for a bit, then the issue is something in your old folder, and you'll need to sort through those files to find out which is/are corrupt. Start with your mods and custom content, if you have any. If you'd like help with this process, let me know.
If the game won't load even with a clean folder in place, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
