The Sims 4 No Sound PC

Hi, I just bought the game, installed it. I turned the computer pff and again on. The game runs but does not make a sound.

Game appears in sound mixer, making sound turned on.

I had it Searched on the internet and someone was saying to set speaker settings to 24 Hz 44100, and i did it, but it didn't improve.

All updates are up to date, there is no problem with them either.

There is no sound when i open the game. Can you help me?

    @PelinAlp  It's probably not related to the sound issue, but I wanted to point out that your C drive is getting low on storage.  So you may want to clear up a bit more space for general maintenance purposes.   20 GB is the minimum needed for a Windows feature update, and that shoud be fine for general use as well.

    For the audio issue, your sound driver is quite old.  MSI doesn't offer a newer driver for your laptop, but you can tell Windows to look for one.  Hit Windows key-X, select the Device Manager, expand the Audio tab, click on any entry with Realtek in the name, then click the black and green Update icon at the top of the window.  Repeat for the entries in the Sound tab.

    Restart your computer when you're done.  If you still can't get sound, and please test with the computer's speaker and with headphones, you can try updating any other audio or sound devices listed in the Device Manager.  (Restart again afterwards.)

    The drivers for your graphics chip and card are also somewhat old, but you don't necessarily need to update them unless you notice a problem.  If updating the sound devices doesn't help though, that would be the next step.

    @puzzlezaddict Thanks for answer.

    I know the memory problem. It already gives a warning for the problem. I will take care.

    Previously i tried uptade audio tabs from device manager. ''The best version for your device is installed'' says.

    Dowland the new version from Realtech's own web site to the computer. I chose it by saying update with it, but still not doing it.

    @PelinAlp  Try uninstalling the driver you currently have through the Device Manager.  If you're online when you do this, Windows should automatically find a new driver for you.  If this doesn't help, take your computer offline first, uninstall the driver again, and install the one you downloaded from Realtek.  (Windows won't be able to find a new driver with no internet connection.)

    If that doesn't help, please remove options.ini from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.  This file holds all your in-game options, and removing it will force the game to create a new one with all default settings.  If this doesn't help, and you don't want to have to reset all your options, you can delete the new file and put the old one back.
