The Sims 4 Packs Not Downloading
I recently had a problem with my drive and had to uninstall then reinstall everything. I had most of my sims 4 packs on steam, but i bought others on ea. This time, instead of using steam, I downloaded the sims 4 through ea because steam was having download issues. The game downloaded just fine on EA, but now only my ea bought packs are showing up. My steam packs won't download unless i download the base game on steam, which my drive doesnt have enough space for (It used the space for downloading it on EA) is this supposed to happen? How can i fix it? Would it be best to just uninstall it from EA and reinstall it on Steam? Thanks! ♥
@SimmieGoose Yes, your best and only real option here is to uninstall the EA App version of Sims 4 and reinstall the game through Steam. You'll be able to download your EA App-owned packs into your Steam install, but it doesn't work the other way around: as you're seeing, you can't download your Steam-owned packs into an EA App install.
