The Sims will only eat them if they leave the house hungry. So they're basically a replacement for breakfast.
You can also use them for your active careers or go do a picknick at the park or you can pack up the food you order at the restaurant - like a doggy bag.
❤️ Thanks @crinrict ! That's what I did wrong... I gave my kids breakfast AND packed a sack lunch! LOL 😃 Thanks also on the other info (active careers, picnics, but it is especially great to know about using this feature as a restaurant doggy bag!) 😎
